Swainsboro Wrestling
The Swainsboro High School Wrestling team competed in their region tournament this past Friday. Qualifying for Sectionals were Steven Chrysosferidis, Jaleel Johnson, and Ronald Lucas all placing 2nd in region. Also qualifying was Alexander Carswell who placed 3rd, and Thomas Waters, Lashon Sherrod, Brandon Coleman,
and Deshon Habersham which all took 4th.
Sectionals will be held at Dublin High School this Friday and Saturday. Wrestling will begin around 5pm at Dublin High School on Friday. This tournament will be the qualifier for the State tournament held at Gwinnett Center Arena.
The wrestling/baseball team will also be selling Cow Plot tickets. Winner will get $2000. Tickets are $20 please contact Matt Godwin at 229-300-2624 if interested in purchasing a ticket.
