SHS Tiger Wrestlers headed to sectionals
The Swainsboro High School Wrestling Team competed in the Region 3AA Tournament at Toombs County High School Friday, Feb 5. Swainsboro had six team members to qualify for sectionals to be held February 15 and 16. Sectionals are held at Jefferson High School. The top eight in each weight class at the Sectional Tournament will advance to the state finals. The following wrestlers listed with their final Region ranking for Region 3AA will attend Sectionals (results from Jefferson High Sectionals not available by press time):
