Tigers continue to make some noise

In a 16 team relay the Lady Tigers captured 2nd place at the 42nd annual Statesboro Relays Invitational. The 1600 meter relay team members are Diedra Jordan, Aniya Moore, Latiana Williams, and Lakita Johnson. Diedra Jordan also won the High Jump. Both Aniya Moore and Diedra Jordan continue to lead the way for the Lady Tigers in Field Events and Relays this season. Diedra Jordan also participates in 200 meter and 400 meter dash, Aniya Moore also participates in the long jump and 400 meter dash. "Moore and Jordan usually finish in first or second in each event they compete in," stated Coach Barry Young. Aniya Moore did her personal best in the triple jump event in the Statesboro Relays Invitational last weekend. The Tiger track and field teams will host a track meet in Swainsboro at the Swainsboro High School Sports Complex Tuesday April 13.
