Tiger Tennis Sporting a 5-2 record
The Swainsboro Tiger Tennis teams finish the regular season with both teams sporting a 5-2 record. The final week was capped off with big 5-0 Region wins Monday and Thursday. Monday March 22 Swainsboro hosted multi-sport rival Jefferson County at Harmon Park. The Lady Tigers and Tigers both defeated Jefferson County 5-0. On Thursday March 25 the Tigers traveled to Lucy C. Laney High School in Augusta to take on the Wildcats. The SHS boys and girls finished another 5-0 sweep to close out the regular season. This week the Tigers are off for Spring Break. The SHS Tennis program plans to take strong finishes into the sub-region matches starting in April. “The group has competed very well this season.
