South tops the North in GACA All-Star Game (M. Eady and H. Gay)

Swainsboro Tiger athletes Hunter Gay and Malcolm Eady helped the South put up 27 points in route to a 27-20 victory against the North in last week’s All Star tilt in Columbus, GA.
Eady completed 8 of 15 passes for 163 yards with one TD while running for another 30 yards. Eady was a team captain and starting QB, though he did relinquish some playing time as Terrell Brigham of Burke County played in a backup role.
In other Swainsboro football news, Eady was selected as Region 3AA Offensive Player of the year. Lynquez Blair was selected as the All-Purpose Player of the year. Hunter Gay made 1st team offense while David Porter and Zach Jones garnered 2nd team offense honors. Addison Hooks was an Honorable Mention on offense.
On defense, Jaquez Washington and Tyson Hackett were selected to 1st team defense. Jaleel Johnson made the 2nd team defense and Eric Worthen was an Honorable Mention.
