SHS cheerleaders capture 3rd place

The Swainsboro High School Competition Cheerleading team took home the 3rd place trophy Saturday. Swainsboro competed at Jenkins County High School’s “Eagle Invitational”. Eight teams were invited to participate in Millen Saturday. “We are very proud of our girls and the way they competed this past weekend. This will be a huge boost for us for the upcoming event slated here in Swainsboro September 26.” Stated Competition Cheer Coach Luci McNeely.
Swainsboro will host the first annual “Rumble in the Jungle” at the new gymnasium at Swainsboro High School. The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 26. To see more pictures and information about the SHS Competition Cheerleading team visit www.swainsborotigerathletics.com
