SHS cheerleaders capture 3rd place

The Swainsboro High School Competition Cheerleading team took home the 3rd place trophy Saturday. Swainsboro competed at Jenkins County High School’s “Eagle Invitational”. Eight teams were invited to participate in Millen Saturday. “We are very proud of our girls and the way they competed this past weekend. This will be a huge boost for us for the upcoming event slated here in Swainsboro September 26.” Stated Competition Cheer Coach Luci McNeely.

Members of the team: Jayme Bellamy, Tashima Carlyle, Kayla Coleman, Heather Colson, Anna Ellis, Laura Ellis, Amanda Harris, Monika Hendrix, Lauren Hendley, Maegan Jackson, Allison Moore, Jessica Moore, Whitley Newsome Mallory Purvis, Bruna Rodrigues, Moriah Sheppard, Brianna Screws and Dee Young. Coaches are Bob and Luci McNeely.
