Harlem Globetrotters coming to Swainsboro
The Swainsboro Tigers boys and girls basketball programs would like to invite everyone to come join in the fun as Swainsboro welcomes the world famous Harlem Globetrotters to the Tigers’ Den. The game is a fund raiser for the programs and will be held on March 27th at 7:00 P.M. Pre-game festivities begin at 6 p.m. and general admission is $10.
The Globetrotters have roots going back to the mid 1920s and have traveled the world displaying a rare talent for comedy and basketball skill. They are known for their zany on-court antics combined with amazing dribbling exhibitions, incredible leapers, and trick shots sure to entertain all. Add to the mix some of Swainsboro’s finest as the Globetrotters’ opponents and this will no doubt be a night for all to remember.
Would you like to see Swainsboro coaches Leroy Jordan, Scott Roberts, or Rusty Kea get clowned? Who among school principals Boyd English, Eric Carlyle, or Fire Chief Mike Strowbridge will lose their shorts? Will George Archie, Lee Stewart, or Police Chief Randy Ellis get dunked on?
