Next Saturday Night, March 27, during halftime of The Former Harlem Globetrotters basketball game, there is a special event planned for halftime. Swainsboro High School Principal Dr. Sonji Leach and Swainsboro Supply owner Dal Durden will compete in a 3 point shoot-out. The special event is Saturday night, March 27 at the new gymnasium at SHS. If Dr. Leach wins the competition, Durden will donate $1,000 to the general athletic fund of SHS. Tickets to this one time opportunity to see the clown princes of the round-ball are available from any Emanuel County public school and are only $10. The event is co-sponsored by Queensborough National Bank & Trust, Sonic Drive-In, All-Good Pest Solutions and Mosley’s Funeral Home. For more information please call 478-237-2267.
