Cheerleading
The Cheerleading clinic for tryouts will be held in the Swainsboro High School Gymnasium beginning at 3:15 p.m. and ending at approximately :00 pmon Tuesday – Thursday. Tryouts will be held on March 16 at the Swainsboro High School Gymnasium, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
A tryout parent meeting will be held on Monday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the SHS auditorium.
A squad meeting to discuss squad rules, responsibilities, fundraising and calendars will be held on March 19 at 7 p.m. in the SHS cafeteria. This is mandatory for all squad members as well as a parent.

Tennis
On Tuesday, March 6, the Tennis Team defeated Johnson County with a score of 9 match wins to 1 loss. The boys’ tennis team is undefeated with a record of 6-0. The girls’ tennis team has a winning record of 4-2. On March 13th and 15th the Tennis team will play two important region matches in Southeast Bulloch and Screven. Both matches will be played at East Georgia College so come out and support Swainsboro's outstanding tennis teams. The boys are looking to continue their streak and both teams are looking towards another run in the region and state playoffs.
Track
Both boys’ and girls’ teams performed well in their meet versus ECI. The girls won 13 of 15 events. Jonina Brinson picked up 4 first place finishes (High Jump, 4x100 relay, 100m, 4x400 relay) as did Olivia Holliman (Long Jump, 4x100 relay, 200m, 4x400 relay) and Sentril Smith (300m Hurdles, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, 100m hurdles).
The boys were also dominant, outpacing ECI 106 – 39.
