Three Swainsboro High School seniors have been selected to play in the CSRA Senior Bowl, a week-long format event which encompasses not only the opportunity to play at an extremely high level against the best opponents in the CSRA, but to be seen by some of the top colleges in the country. Teams were selected by high school football coaches in the CSRA. The mission of the CSRA Senior Bowl is to produce the premier high school all-star football game in the state of Georgia that showcases and develops excellence in students and in the community, and raises funds for academic scholarships and other charitable activities.
Seniors chosen from Swainsboro High School were Guan Gardner, Dewan Somerville, and Michael Muns. The game will be held at Evans High School on Cox Road in Evans on December 17 with kickoff at 2 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the SHS office until 1 p.m. on Friday, December 16. Cost is $10 per ticket.
